FWIW John, I just installed 2.2.5 on my 6.06 box this morning, along with
about 46 other packages that had upgrades, and it seems to run just fine
cutting air. With less non-show-stopper chatter on the shell its launched
from also. I assume the default debug level is now zero?

Then I came in here, logged in and ran it from here, and I have GOT to get a
newer, hires lcd monitor for the shop, that 1024x768 screen out there has got
to go. That monitor (a Samsung Synchmaster 17") will do 1600x1200 just fine,
but not with the x in 6.06. Running 1680x1250 in here, sweet.

Question: Is it better to abide by the rules until they're changed or
help speed the change by breaking them?
