Hi Alex,

I have the RS274NGC side sorted now and it switches modes with G07/G08. 
These two codes are now in modal group 15 and should set a flag in 
active_g_codes. I haven't done much testing yet but so far all seems well.

Now to try to get Axis to display the G07/G08 state. Looks like I need 
to learn tcl/tk...

I tend to prefer email because I can fire of an email then go away and 
do something else. This list seems to respond very quickly anyway.
