On Debian Wheezy, when I use the default gcc-4.7 compiler, I get
linking errors in the HAL modules (see previous messages on simulator
build problems).

If I use gcc-4.6 the issue goes away.

I haven't been able to spend enough time to track down the root cause
of the issue, but the gcc-4.6 work-around is acceptable to me for the
moment.  I'm hopeful if I drag my feet long enough, someone else will
figure out and fix this on the Debian or LinuxCNC side.  :)
