The Paul Corner incident left all of us in confusion for some time. He was
pushed out of the project after committing some destructive changes
to the repository.  I sure don't understand what that was all about.
He did have some concerns that had at least a hint of legitimacy
related to fears that John Kasunich's HAL would make EMC unworkable
on lightweight hardware.  I think that fear has proven to not be a concern
due to hardware advancements, etc.
