Those are just the PRU I/O pins, which can be used for high-speed signals (ie: step/dir). The BeagleBone has 44 I/O on P8, and another 32 on P9 (those numbers include the PRU I/O pins). And 7 of those I/O can be analog inputs. There are a *LOT* of I/O on the BeagleBone vs. a parallel port. - -- Charles Steinkuehler char...@steinkuehler.net -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iEYEARECAAYFAlEST/IACgkQLywbqEHdNFwosQCfXK/aLR5Luhy13jKXSYr62nhj yskAoN3NPvVONk865QN1PrgSslUCi1iZ =olFZ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Free Next-Gen Firewall Hardware Offer Buy your Sophos next-gen firewall before the end March 2013 and get the hardware for free!
