I am initially working on a machine configuration for the BeBoPr (which
I have in-hand) and Replicape pinouts. I am trying to make the
low-level PRU code flexible so you can assign I/O pins at run-time, and
match whatever cape or home-brew hookup you're using.

I have spent a good chunk of the last couple days reviewing the recently
released docs on the BBB. Executive summary: I'm not worried.

Although as you noted, without some pin shuffling the HDMI output will
have to be limited (likely completely disabled with the BeBoPr). But
the original 'Bone doesn't have HDMI output at all, so it's no worse
than before.
