I was hoping to test this theory last night but I didn't get to it. Maybe later today...or maybe you'll get your order first :-) I notice the BBB which I received yesterday is rev A5A, which http://circuitco.com/support/index.php?title=BeagleBoneBlack claims is the production version. On the other hand, the System Reference Manual (Rev. A52, April 11, 2013) available from the same site says Rev. A5B is the "initial production release". The phrase "bleeding edge" comes to mind.
