Actually, that it question 0, isn't it? What problems are caused by the current licensing? I believe that there are software packages that we don't use now, but would like to, that are incompatible with any license we can convincingly claim. What are these, and why do we need them? I think that there are also problems that mean that LinuxCNC can't be packaged as part of major repos because of license incompatibilities.
