Hi,

Yes my project was little strange, I made a lot of change, My drivers are 6.5A
the drive look like good they are Chinese I was only afraid about motors they
look like not the same quality.
I use step motor as spindle because I need to control my A axis for grooving
for example so like that my spindle is like a full axis
The spindle motor has a low speed only 150rpm because it used for stone
cutting, I have a planetary gearbox with ratio 1:8 so my spindle speed is
around 1200rpm
I was thinking that will be ok
I will add extra cooler plate in aluminium with a fan to see if it's better

Thanks!

You are using stepper motor for lathe's spindle?!?
What are motor's rated current and actual current set in the stepper drive?
How fast are you spinning the motor?
