The preview isn't actually "wrong" for a rear-toolpost lathe,
rotational symmetry being what it is, so it is usable.

For lathes that have both toolposts it might be nice if the preview
drew the profile + the mirror profile.

If youhave both, then I seem to recall that negative X-values display
(and work) correctly.
