Tain't working here Andy, and I even had it crash on an exit, which that
box does just often enough I don't forget it, so it got rebooted. No
change, Z simply is not getting a signal. I'll check around tomorrow but I
get the impression that stepgen.1 is not even getting a signal from either
axis or motion. I know that its dir output on parport.0.pin-6.out is not
changing. Stepgen.0 is working just fine.

I just ran about 2 dozen hal_meters from here, with power to the motors
off, so I could watch a lot of stuff, and stepgen.1, nor anything I looked
at on motion, is not responding to the left/right,page up/page down keys.
There is also a stepgen.2 shows up in the meter selector, but nothing is
happening there either.

I am about done for the day, so I'll do some more "target" practice
tomorrow.

The missus is down a bit today & left me with loading the dishwasher(done),
taking out the monthly trash(done), and fixing dinner, which as its almost
21:00 here, I should get to whether I feel like it or not. I laid out some
pork chops to thaw, but the kitchen counter is as far as they've gotten.

Cheers, Gene
