No.

But I did just find it, when changing the signs of the various search
VELocities, I inadvertently put a - sign in front of the axis 2 MAXVEL & it
doesn't like a -1.0. Funny thing, max debug level did not report that!

So atm I can now jog it, but because I apparently left it with the z switch
closed, or because that is no power on the BOB or motors, I can't do a home
axis so didn't even try. Thats only a 17" monitor, and about 4 feet from
it is as close as I can get when the lathe is sitting spindle out on top of
the toolbox its on so that I could get at both front & back. I obviously
need to set an even bigger font in gedit. Its not a problem when its
actually sitting in its normal working position as its only about 29" from
where I stand then.

And I owe you an apology for wasting your time checking out what my poor
vision at 4' from the monitor let me do. I've been wearing trifocals for
70 years. So this is not LCNC's fault, its mine, and I apologize for
wasting your time,

I put - signs in front of the search_vel's when I drilled & tapped into the
back of the bed to move the z switch so it would only be closed at a point
close to the chuck. It was what I intended to do anyway & I screwed up
and added it in the wrong line. Now it moves and I can sort the rest of
this basket of rattlesnakes I think. I have yet to make a swarf shield for
the x switch, which is on the top of the carriage so the crossfeed backs
into it about 20 thou from its out limit mechanically.

Cheers, Gene
