Thanks to everyone who tested and did code review, and thanks in
particular to Michael Geszkiewicz who wrote the original code, the
hostmot2 driver has now been merged to the LinuxCNC master branch.

This is the first hardware driver that functions exclusively with
userspace POSIX realtime, aka "uspace".  To use it, you have to use a
PREEMPT-RT kernel such as linux linux-image-3.2.0-4-rt-686-pae on Debian
7, configure your linuxcnc with
    --enable-realtime=uspace
and "sudo make setuid" so that linuxcnc can run with realtime priority.
