The present method is, for a machine using morse collets, simply not worth the effort to fill in and try to use a tool table for anything but mill diameter reference. My next machine, if there is one, will have a spindle setup for R-8 or similar tooling. Morse taper stuff is cheap and you get exactly what you paid for it.
