The PCB mills should be bought with the collars installed, I have found 
they are quite accurate, with a larger error budget being the randomness 
of my snugging up the draw bolt on a morse taper collet.

I agree.  The present method is, for a machine using morse collets, simply 
not worth the effort to fill in and try to use a tool table for anything 
but mill diameter reference.

My next machine, if there is one, will have a spindle setup for R-8 or 
similar tooling.  Morse taper stuff is cheap and you get exactly what you 
paid for it.  Crap...
