I am glad you were able to confirm it, TomP, so I am not quite the raving 
lunatic I occasionally come across as. ;-)

I get the impression that dropbox is doing that to raise "participation 
levels".  Someone hasn't grokked the message that the last thing you 
want to do is upset a potential client if you want to count his clicks 
next week too.

After this has now occured for every dropbox link I have followed for a 
month or so, I have I think, now followed my last dropbox link.  I have 
no clue what their making expenses model is, but if its selling my click 
to potential advertisers, they will not be counting mine.

If you put it on image.bin and post the URL, I'll certainly go see how it 
works for me.  Many thanks for your efforts on behalf of LCNC.
