when i did 450 amp cuts for GE in Winston Salem
it was the extreme edge of edm.

it sounded like machine gun fire
just muffled by being done in a 1 meter deep tank.
we were matching two hammer die halves for props.

the process just cant be stabilized at that current density.

the acceptance requirement was 11cu in/hr. and i did that by
tossing the autopilot, putting 1 hand on the loop set point
and the other on the flush control. after 1hr, i relaxed.
