If I program a completely tangential path,
does blending still occur?
With the new TP, what governs the actual speed along such a path?

regarding sam's note about reversing stopping at tool change
sounds like a 'glue stop' in WEDM speak,
where we'd change the power setting and offset ( like rpm and tool 
diameter ), then reverse thru the path, refining the surface finish,
and get closer to the final diimension.
