No progress on the code today, as I'm on crash duty to get the jig flipper working. I damned near smashed the jig yesterday when I didn't set the bit at the right stickout. Making panels for the box to hold the BoB, and getting the bare motor assembly mounted via some home-made T-Nuts so its pretty solid on the end of the table. And adding the hal stuff to send it a signal, but without a PSU I can't "exercise" it from the code or the gui, but I have proved its getting to the 2nd BoB's specified pins. The led on the BoB says the relay is being driven but its a teeny relay and with all the other fan noise, I can't hear it click from a foot away. I'll put an ohmmeter on the contacts tomorrow just for S&G though. Now if I could just find a "dust deputy" sized for a shop-vac "bucket-max". I could probably kill both birds by Sunday evening. :) Too bad I can't buy clear 4" sewer pipe, I'd try to make it but i'd have to be able to see it working so I could fine tune the design. I figure a 4" pvc section a foot tall, sitting on a floor flange screwed/glued to the lid for a 5 gallon bucket, with a 1.25" pvc pipe glued into the center of a 4" end cap & sticking down about 6" into the 4" section, with a side port for a 1.25" input from the machine pickup, 3" above the end of the suction pipe which should swirl the air and dust enough to swirl the dust to the outside wall where it can spiral down into the bucket, while the relatively clean air in the center is sucked back out the top by the vacuum. I think I see another shopping trip in my future tomorrow. Buckets I have, need 2. one to hold the other so its easily removed tp dump it. A bucket lid, a floor flange and end cap and a few feet of sink drain tail ought to at least get me started. And it sounds like fun if it stretches the life of a $30 HEPA filter in the bucket-max. These things have a pretty decent vacuum, and can suck the sides of a std $3 5 gallon utility bucket in 2 or 3 inches!
