We do have a MOD[var,var] function in the gcode interpreter I think, its 
been a while but ISTR using it once, but don't remember what for.  Is 
that not available to either carosel, triac or orient?  IDK.

Yes, in fact I used it in control logic in the original 
blanket-chest3.ngc code on the toy mill, but changed it for a different 
way to check a 0 or 1 value when I copied it to the newer machine, as a 
way to do an 
"o### IF [#<_var> gt 0.50000000]" construction.

But I've never used its output to drive a stepper, yet. Project put on 
shelf pending aquisition of sufficient raw materiel to make a tool 
changer for my larger mill.  Tools too big for the material I had 
basically.
