Hi,

I'm confused. Seriously :(

Not sure any more.
I understood documentation that way, that G43.1 adds an offset to existing tool
length (which would match the behaviour of Heidenhains TL), but it seems to
replace the toollength instead.

I stepped through the testfile several times and without G43.1 all things seem
to work. Until restart of the file. Then the toollength is 0 until next
toolchange.

With G43.1 the toollength will change to the value from G43.1 - I did wrong
calculation between absolute and relative coordinates. The gap of 30mm was not
the toollength as supposed, but the value from G0Z30 ...

So activating/deactivating G43.1 shows, that it replaces tool length - not was
I expected - but in that context, things seem to work.
Except with the tool table, which does not show the z-values any more.
Tool-offset of active tool seems to be ok so.

Reinhard
