Just to clarify: This option has been in LinuxCNC for along time. But documented in an obscure place.
It will not change the operation of many existing programs. Anything which already has an explicit G43, with or without an H number, will behave exactly as before. The only places that the behaviour would be different would be in programs that have an M6 without a corresponding G43.
