Crickets. I'm probably not qualified to say yay or nay. What I will say is that I built a 4.19 for my pi a couple yeas ago and it has yet to crash. Its running an 80 yo Sheldon Lathe, an 11x54 that should been scrapped as its bed wear plus a fallover ruined it. Broke the compound, bent the spindle were the obvious problems. I found
others as I went along.

I had to make much of the linuxcnc conversion out of whole cloth, and I now have a medium sized lathe that works very well, and knows lots more dance steps than it
ever dreamed of in Chicago.
If you can put RTAI into this kernel:
4.19.71-rt24-v7l+ #1 SMP PREEMPT RT Thu Feb 6 07:09:18 EST 2020 armv7l,
I'd sure try it, but generally it is not an intel.
