No experience with anything risc-v realated but do not think this matter as 
software is usually written in C or maybe
C++ and compiler take care of the translation to CPU instructions. As a note I 
would personally prefer ADA instead of C
or C++ but is not very important.

Do however have experience and theorethical knowledge about electric motors. 
Also some knowledge and experience with
Ethercat and CANopen used both over ethercat and ordinary CAN network.
