First consider if its necessary to release a new ISO. There is a precedent
where no ISO was released on Bullseye as no new LinuxCNC versions were released
during the Bullseye reign.
Aside from that. I think it should be on Trixie if the Debian build environment
supports it (which I think it does). The Bookworm to Trixie upgrade process is
pretty seamless. LinuxCNC is in the Trixie repos so there is no point living in
the past. There isn't any way in a custom ISO to mitigate all of the latency
issues that have arisen since the release of Debian 11 (Which we did not
experience until 2.9 was released on Debian 12).
Note that the builder takes the OS version from the Debian version of the
machine it is run on so Trixie needs to be built on Trixie.
