Unfortunately, Any mitigations possible have already been done in the current
bookworm ISO. They are mostly hardware specific. The only suggested improvement
would be to install gedit as its used by default in the ini file EDITOR value
and we install Geany.
Which is correct. gedit has destroyed my work enough times its now
removed here. It (gedit) will play 52 pickup with your code, scrambling
your work at some point, I got tired of starting a new config from
square one.
With the help of another member, I reworked the 2.9 Getting Linuxcnc docs to include many of the suggested mitigations but that was removed from the docs with the release of 2.9.3.

First consider if its necessary to release a new ISO.
I have seen complaints that the ISO installs 2.9.4....
There isn't any way in a custom ISO to mitigate all of the latency issues
that have arisen since the release of Debian 11 (Which we did not experience
until 2.9 was released on Debian 12).
Is there any way to mitigate _some_ of them? (and do you have any
references to these problems?)
