Unfortunately, Any mitigations possible have already been done in the current 
bookworm ISO. They are mostly hardware specific. The only suggested improvement 
would be to install gedit as its used by default in the ini file EDITOR value 
and we install Geany.
 
With the help of another member, I reworked the 2.9 Getting Linuxcnc docs to 
include many of the suggested mitigations but that was removed from the docs 
with the release of 2.9.3.
