This error (from reading your log) is because you have /etc/apt/sources.list 
and the newer /etc/apt/sources.list.d/debian.sources in the new deb822 format.
 
Try renaming sources.list to sources.bak and doing a sudo apt update to remove 
the duplicate definitions
 
Is this on a raspberry pi image? Normally you need to set the password when 
running the Debian live installer so its odd to me you had to guess a password 
(which is set on the pi)
