Doesn't that answer the question for you? I really don't
think you want to be caught shipping a product which you
knew failed to meet the FCC requirements!
Something slipping through -- that's one thing. KNOWING it's
over the limit and still shipping ... that's another, very
different one. In one case you might be able to work with
the Commission (though I can't speak for them, obviously)
but in the other case I think they'd take the view that,
since you already tried to sneak something by them, you
could not be trusted in the future. A bad reputation is hard
to live down!
