IEC-TC 74 Working group 7 , are working for a new amendment to IEC 950. The subject is to protect the SERVICE PERSONNEL against electric shock, for Remote Feeding Telecommunication networks defined as TNV CIRCUITS . The CURRENT LIMIT proposed is 60mA.The DC voltage limit under this current limit conditions is up to 1500V. Their work is based also on VDE 800 Part 3 :1983 - Telecommunication Installations with Remote Power Supply, and IEC 479-1.
