The amp is designed for professional audio and lab use, simple mod to go to 100 KHz at full performance. It easily makes 120 VAC barefoot and drives a CDI 1000i backfilter/transformer for 240 VAC. CROWN assured me that my application was tame when they provided the mod - three years ago ;>) One word of caution, I use the amp on 120V, it did not do well (at full power) on a 15 amp branch circuit. We have a dedicated 20 A branch for it.
