Clause 2.5.2 of EN 60950 states that "class II equipment shall have no
provision for protective earthing, except that it may be provided with a
means for maintaining the continuity of protective earthing circuits to
other equipment in a system. If class II equipment has an earth connection
for functional purposes, the functional earth circuit shall be separated
from parts at hazardous voltages by double or reinforced insulation."

I don't know if this would apply in your case. IEC 320 3-pin inlets are
generally not allowed in class II equipment. Even if you provide a cord
with your equipment there is a chance that if the cord is lost or damaged a
generic power cord will be used.
