Hi folks, Next month I'm going to give a talk on " The status of EMC in America". This talk will be presented in England, Sept 16th and 18th.
For the record I'm English, and have lived in the USA for 14 years working in the Military, Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial EMC areas. I have formed some opinions which I hope are representitive of the majority of folks here. However, as I put this talk together, I would appreciate input from list members, especially if they reside in the USA or deal in EMC issues with USA companies. I'm particularly intersted in: => Where Military EMC is going => Where the FCC is going => Why we don't have ENFORCED immunity standards in the USA => Issues in dealing with Europe => Attitudes of companies/managers that have to deal with EMC I'll take any ( factual ) input your prepared to share, also, opinions are fine too: but please make it clear they are your opinion.
