Unless I am missing something, I see no reason why I can't allow our North American black and white wiring colours to be used for the line and neutral wiring INSIDE a product, even though that product is destined for CE-marking and European sales. EN60950 only limits the use of green/yellow wiring. As far as I can see, it does not mandate the blue/brown colour code.
