Apologies for missing out
the most important piece of information regarding the information.
The directive I was quoting from was 94/62 Packaging and packaging
waste.
Whilst the main thrust of the directive is aimed more at food
packaging etc it still appears to apply to industrial packing.
Under the definitions section it states "packaging shall mean all
products made of any materials of any nature to be used for the
containment protection handling delivery and presentation of
goods from raw materials to processed goods"
Which seems like a catch all to me
