Dear Allen,

You may also be interested to note that Hungary a potential member of
the EU, adopted procedures sometime ago to include the CE mark as a
requirement for Safety compliance. On 9 September 1999 their new EMC
legislation became effective and I believe (I have yet to receive the
official translation) this will include the CE marking regulation as
part of the manufacturers' self declaration. A landmark in Hungarian
certification as the EMC procedures previously were cause for many
delays in product launch.

Best regards,

Edward Fitzgerald

Greetings group,

Does anyone have the latest list of countries in the European block who
require the CE mark?

Thanks.
