John - we have already gone through the same issues as you are now experiencing. What we have created was a document entitled "Certificate of Part Conformance" that the fabricator sends with every shipment of plastic parts. This is retained with our "component receipt files" which the UL Inspector checks whenever doing an internal inspection. This seems to satisfy the need of the UL Field Inspector. We also do on-site audits of the fabricator to assure they have all the proper paper work on file to assure that they receive the correct raw materials. Hope this helps. Feel free to contact me at 651-766-3395 if I can me of further assistance. Good Luck!
