Nadeau: The delay period is complete and the standard applies to products 50 Watts and above. However the actual application of the standard is up to the each country and how it is adopted. For example, in Europe the standard applies to only some products until 1 January 2001. On this date it will apply to all products covered by the standard. Dave George
