After completing an exhaustive set of diagnostics, we suspect a problem with ground screen solder joints near our table. We suspect that many of these joints were not properly heated and/or that flux was not used. Someone other than my team finished this portion of the pad before we fired them for incompetent work. So now we are faced with soldering a five year old galvanized screen. One thought is that we will have to use a wire brush to remove the dirt and oxide. The second thought is that a flux (rosin, acid, other?) may be sufficient. The third idea, and the least acceptable, is to start over with a new screen. What are your recommendations?
