Could someone please clarify the following : the test procedure for EN 50140 states "the frequency range is swept from 80 MHz to 1000MHz, using the power levels established during the calibration process, and with the signal 80% amplitude modulated with a 1 kHz sinewave pausing to adjust the RF signal level or to switch oscillators and antennas as necessary"
Does this mean that the modulation is to be turned on and off during the stepping or sweeping of frequency? I have never heard of doing this but I have been asked to respond to the question. Can anyone shed some light as to why someone would interpret it that way?? thank you!!! Lisa --------- This message is coming from the emc-pstc discussion list.
