Hello! 10 cm is 10 cm no matter what number of blocks. The only thing I can see that would make the number of spacers an issue is if the dielectric constant sufficiently changed the ground path of the resulting discharge current. I suspect any equipment that sensitive will fail anyhow.

Standards for ESD test such as SAE J1113/13, SAE J551/15, ISO 10605 describes height of insulation blocks. But I can't find any information about number of this blocks. We have a problem. Device we tested had failure when testing with using one insulation block. Our employer persists that we must use four this blocks. Q: Where I can find standard or any other document which describes number of blocks? Best regards, Chetverov Vladimir. P.S.
