Hi Doug, I believe there is another option (which may or may not be palatable) - You can ask your NRTL to strap out (bypass) the fuse and conduct whatever tests they like & if there is no fire or shock danger they must ignore the fuse rating entirely. The down side of this is the cost & time of the additional testing.
