Hello Nick, Singapore PSB has requirements for the mains plug used depending if it is a 2 or 3 pin configuration. My experience with the 3 pin config is it must comply with Singapore standard SS145 and bear the marking "SS145" on the plug itself.

I suspect a battery charger will require the same, but cannot comment on the applicable standard given your application. Our adapters are for powering ITE printers, and have CB Reports to IEC 60950. I've been asked what would be the requirements for shipping a switch mode battery charger intended for charging batteries in caravans and on boats. The company concerned have a distributor who they can designate as an authorised agent in Perth, and the unit has a report from a UK notified body which states that it complies with the requirements of EN60335-2-29. Are there any mandatory requirements for registration/approval for this type of product, and if so who is the relevant authority to contact?
