This comment gets back to a question I posed the forum a long time ago, but didn't get a conclusive answer. In 1989, the story was that having one set of EU regulations that would allow CE mark, would replace the onerous nation-by-nation approvals then required and this would be a boon to everyone. Seems to me that the international community has more than replaced the previous national standards in volume of regulations. True/false?
