Andrew: Use the 10 uF caps: 1. For RS03 (since the caps are defining the powerline source Z). 2. For RS01 (but it won't make any difference). 3. For RS02 (not clear, but for consistency). 4. For CS06 AC leads, I use one 10 uF cap line-to-line, as shown in Figure CS06-1 (as it lowers the voltage drop across the powerline source Z).
Remove the 10 uF caps: 1. For CS01 (on DC leads, you may need a really big line-to-line cap to lower the voltage drop across the powerline source Z & for AC leads, you likely will need a powerline frequency rejection filter, as it's difficult to see 3 Vrms test signal in the presence of 120 Vrms power). 2. For CS02 (you want to apply the signal to the EUT, not split it with any caps). 3. For CS06 DC leads (since you are adding an isolating inductor between the power source and the EUT).
