Can anyone advise! When testing to mil 461a/b/c for airforce, emissions are done using 10uF Capacitors in-line between the supply source and the unit under test (1 metre from the EUT). LISNs are used for army and have only been incorporated for airforce equipments in 461d/e.
Are the 10uF Caps supposed to be removed for immunity tests such as CS01, CS02 and CS06? If so what is the reasoning for doing it? The test set ups in 462 isn't clear on this subject and test houses that I have spoken to tend to leave them in for both emission and susceptibility testing.
