Is is just me, or is anyone else having trouble with UL's on line
point of sale of standards? This is not the place to provide a
detailed critique of the faults inherent in the service, but there
seems to be numerous broken links, no useable contact phone number
for customers from outside the USA, no on-line support worth the name
and no e-mail address to send enquiries or complaints to. Twice now I
have purchased standards on line, the site has taken my money and it
has then proved impossible to find anywhere from which to download
the standard I have been charged for.
I used to think BSI were the people who provided us all with an
example of how standards bodies have failed to get to grip with the
electronic age, but I'm beginning to wonder if UL haven't been taking
lessons from them.
Can anyone recommend some one at UL to complain to who might actually
do something about it?
Nick. (exasperated...)
