I read in !emc-pstc that Dave Grant <[email protected]> wrote (in <[email protected]>) about 'UL and multiple brand names' on Thu, 14 Nov 2002:
>Can we obtain UL certification for one brand name only and use the same UL >certification for the other brand name? You can, and should, ask UL. You should ALWAYS talk to UL (and CSA for Canada) before exporting product to their bailiwicks. It prevents very nasty surprises, and puts you on a friendly footing with them if there does prove to be a problem. -- Regards, John Woodgate, OOO - Own Opinions Only. http://www.jmwa.demon.co.uk Interested in professional sound reinforcement and distribution?
