Ron, There are 2 instances I have even tried this with difficult success. The first is under special import for the purpose of getting CCC approval. The second is as a Beta and it has to come back out of the country.
Any other attempt will must likely result in confiscation of your unit. After 45 days of not being able to prove your product is approved customs will confiscate it and you get nothing back. This happened to me on a printer that was being converted from CCIB to CCC. The printer being shipped was labeled wrong and everything we did, did not satisfy the customs agent. Needless to say we lost that printer and sale. Hope this helps.
