To any that might know, Since network routing equipment is not specifically called out in China's "First Catalogue of Products Subject to Compulsory Certification" as ITE or TTE, CCC certification is not required for this type of equipment.
But, it is always good to be prepared and with that said, does anyone know of an effort by the Chinese authorities to either publish a 2nd Catalogue or revise the 1st Catalogue to include this type of equipment? If so, when would an announcement be made? If not, will it ever be included? Any replies from those knowledgeable of this portion of the CCC certification process with an answer to these questions would be appreciated. I look forward to your reply(ies).
