To any that might know,

Since network routing equipment is not specifically called out in China's
"First Catalogue of
Products Subject to Compulsory Certification" as ITE or TTE, CCC certification
is not required for
this type of equipment.

But, it is always good to be prepared and with that said, does anyone know of
an effort by the
Chinese authorities to either publish a 2nd Catalogue or revise the 1st
Catalogue to include this
type of equipment? If so, when would an announcement be made? If not, will it
ever be included?

Any replies from those knowledgeable of this portion of the CCC certification
process with an answer
to these questions would be appreciated. I look forward to your reply(ies).

Best regards,

Ron Pickard
