There is a similar situation here in the States. The United States Council
of EMC Laboratories
(USCEL) publishes consensus positions in the form of Technical Guidance
Notes (TGNs).
These TGNs, while not mandatory, provide a common perspective and
clarification on
domestic and International EMC issues for the members involved. The TGNs
are free to
members and are $10 each, I believe, to non-members.
